Tuatong 2 Warehouse: steel warehouse in Thailand, 2019. World Steel – structural steel fabricator in Vietnam – provided design, fabrication and supply.

Tuatong 2 Warehouse is a steel warehouse in Thailand. World Steel designed, fabricated and supplied the steel structure, exported in 2019. Design and fabrication follow US structural steel standards – AISC 360, AWS D1.1 and ASTM materials.

The project is a steel warehouse. Steel packages like this follow World Steel’s standard workflow – Tekla 3D detailing, cutting, welding, blasting and painting at the World Steel steel structure factory in Tay Ninh, Vietnam. Steel structures for Thailand leave Vietnam as an export steel structure package – marked members, bolts and erection drawings for the site team.

Normas de diseño y fabricación

Like World Steel’s other projects in Thailand, the steel structure was designed and fabricated to US standards: loads to ASCE 7, design to AISC 360 and AISI S100 (cold-formed purlins and girts), MBMA practice for the metal building system, materials to ASTM, welding to AWS D1.1, high-strength bolting to the RCSC Specification and surface preparation to SSPC.
