WS electric wire rope hoists

Hoist types

Single-rail trolley hoist – runs on the bottom flange of a single girder or monorail (N, NR curved).
Low-headroom hoist – counterweight (LC) or balance wheel (LB) design for maximum hook height under single girders.
Double-rail trolley hoist – for double girder cranes (DU parallel / DX perpendicular).
Stationary (foot-mounted) hoist – fixed lifting points and winches (F).
Chain hoists – for light loads and workstations.

What does 4/1 reeving mean?

Four rope falls on one rope end at the drum: double the capacity of 2/1 at half the lifting speed and hook travel.

Which hoist for maximum hook height?

A low-headroom (LC or LB) hoist on single girder cranes, or a double-rail trolley between the girders of a double girder crane.
