World Steel – Africa
World Steel designs and fabricates structural steel and pre-engineered buildings for industrial, logistics and commercial projects in Africa, to the design code chosen for each project.
African markets use a range of design bases: SANS 10162-1 in South Africa, Eurocodes or legacy British Standards such as BS 5950 in many English-speaking countries, and Eurocodes in French-speaking markets. International developers and EPC contractors also specify AISC and ASCE 7.
World Steel works to the project's code and specification, fabricates under ISO 3834-2 welding quality management and supplies complete steel packages – including pre-engineered building kits with cladding and accessories – packed and marked for long-distance shipment and straightforward local erection.
