Pipe racks
Multi-level pipe racks and pipe bridges with cable tray levels, bracing and access – as stick-built steel or pre-assembled modules.

Solution · Oil, gas & process plants
Pipe racks, process modules and skids, equipment support structures, tank access and lattice structures – fabricated to the project specification under certified welding, full material traceability and a complete manufacturing data record, and protected for the plant environment.

Process plants put structural steel under demanding conditions: heavy, hot and vibrating pipe loads, wind and seismic actions on tall structures, corrosive and sometimes marine atmospheres, and owner specifications that leave no room for undocumented work.
We fabricate to the project specification – the client's own standards, PIP or NORSOK practices, AISC, EN or AS/NZS – with welding procedures and welders qualified for the job, an agreed inspection and test plan, non-destructive testing to the specified extent and a manufacturing data record for every lot. Modules and pipe racks can be pre-assembled to reduce work at site.
Scope
Structural and miscellaneous steel for upstream, midstream and downstream facilities.
main · secondary
Multi-level pipe racks and pipe bridges with cable tray levels, bracing and access – as stick-built steel or pre-assembled modules.
pre-assembled
Structural frames for process modules, equipment skids and pre-assembled units, with floors, lifting points and transport bracing.
vessels · exchangers
Multi-level structures around columns, vessels and exchangers with platforms, stairs and caged ladders.
storage
Spiral and straight stairs, roof platforms, walkways and handrails for storage tanks.
tall structures
Lattice towers and derrick-type support structures with access platforms.
plant buildings
Compressor and pump shelters, warehouses, workshops and control buildings.
Aplicações
We work to your project specification and its referenced standards – and raise technical queries before steel is cut, not after.
ISO 3834-2 welding quality system, qualified procedures and welders, and NDT by qualified inspectors.
EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certificates, heat numbers carried to every piece mark.
Paint and galvanising systems to ISO 12944 up to CX and offshore-related systems, with DFT and adhesion records.
Pipe rack modules, process skids and pre-assembled units that move work from site to the factory.
ITP, NDT reports, coating records and a manufacturing data record for handover.
Normas e conformidade
Oil and gas projects are governed by the owner's specification; these are the standards we most often work to.
Resumo apenas para orientação – prevalecem a especificação do projeto, a edição da norma adotada e a autoridade competente.
Documentation
What the MDR typically contains – agreed with you in the ITP.
Before fabrication
Activities, acceptance criteria, hold and witness points.
EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2
With heat traceability to piece marks.
Welding
Procedures and welders qualified to the specified code.
VT · MT · PT · UT · RT
Extent and acceptance as specified, by qualified inspectors.
Fit-up · trial assembly
Checks of modules, racks and critical interfaces.
Surface · DFT · adhesion
Surface preparation, film thickness and adhesion tests.
Per lot
Inspection release and third-party sign-off where required.
Logistics
Packing lists, marking and loading records.
Contents follow the project specification and the agreed ITP.
Quality
Each project starts with an inspection and test plan agreed with you and your third-party inspector, with hold and witness points. Materials are checked against their certificates and traced by heat number; welds are made to qualified procedures by qualified welders and examined by VT, MT, PT, UT or RT to the specified extent.
Coating is applied and checked to the coating specification, and the manufacturing data record – certificates, procedures, NDT and coating reports, dimensional checks and release notes – is completed before each lot ships.

Modularisation
Remote sites, short shutdown windows and high site labour costs favour modules. We fabricate and pre-assemble pipe rack modules, process module frames and equipment skids with floors, stairs and lifting points, and design transport bracing and sea-fastening interfaces with your logistics team.
Trial assembly and dimensional control in the factory make sure modules connect at site the first time.
Protection
Process plants range from C3 to CX and splash-zone exposure. We apply paint systems and hot-dip galvanising to the coating specification – ISO 12944, NORSOK M-501 or the owner's system – with surface preparation, dry-film thickness and adhesion records for every lot.
