Acerca de Firestop coatings for cables and batts
Coated batt systems – stone wool slabs coated with an ablative or intumescent coating – seal openings with cables, trays and pipes in walls and floors.
Cable coatings reduce fire spread along cable runs; their performance is tested for the cable types and bundle sizes in the system.
Penetration seals are classified from EN 1366-3, UL 1479 / ASTM E814 or AS 1530.4 tests.
