Connections carry the loads

In LGS the connections are as important as the members: screws join studs to tracks and truss members at nodes; hold-downs and anchors take uplift and overturning from braced walls; straps and brackets tie trusses to walls.

Anchors

Bottom tracks and hold-downs are anchored to the slab with chemical anchors, concrete screws or cast-in bolts, designed for uplift and shear.
