Singapore designs steel structures to the Eurocodes with Singapore National Annexes (SS EN 1990, SS EN 1991, SS EN 1993) under the Building Control Act administered by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). Structural steel must comply with BC1, the BCA design guide on the use of alternative structural steel, which classifies materials and the manufacturers and suppliers behind them.
