Fabrication & Manufacturing

From the largest built-up members to small fittings, every component is cut, welded, blasted, painted and coded in our own plant under certified quality systems.

Our fabrication plant at Hai Son Industrial Park, Tay Ninh, produces components from the largest to the smallest and from simple to complex – including oversize and special structures – with a capacity of around 40,000 tonnes per year.

Fabrication follows certified quality and welding management systems recognised in our export markets: AS/NZS 5131 CC3 for Australia and New Zealand, EN 1090-2 EXC3 for Europe, ISO 3834-2 for welding quality, IAS AC472 for the US market and BC1 for Singapore. Quality is inspected from incoming material, through each production step, to the finished product.

Every member marked with its package code for traceable delivery and erection

Material receiving
Steel plate received and checked against the order and mill certificates.

Laser cutting
Plates cut by laser; end plates and connection plates cut and holed by laser.

Fit-up & automatic welding
Web and two flanges fitted up and welded automatically.

Straightening
Members straightened to tolerance.

Rough assembly
End plates at both ends and stiffeners tack-welded in position.

Dimensional inspection
Member measured against the shop drawing – hold point before final welding.
07
Final welding
All detail welds completed after dimensional release.
08
Visual inspection & grinding
Welds inspected, ground and deburred.

Shot blasting
Surface cleaned for coating.
10
Painting
Paint system applied, film thickness checked.
11
Packing
Members coded, bundled and listed.
12
Dispatch
Loaded and released from the factory.
