Solution · Industrial plant fabrication
Bulk-handling bins and hoppers, transfer chutes, pressure pipe spools and the pipe racks that carry them are usually bought from different shops – and the interfaces between them cost time on site. World Steel fabricates them together, under one quality plan, one coating system and one shipping schedule.

A bin sits on a support structure, discharges through a hopper into a chute and is fed by pipes and conveyors carried on racks. When one fabricator makes all of it, the connection points, nozzle orientations, pipe supports and lifting lugs are checked against each other in the shop – not discovered at site.
World Steel works from your process and piping drawings, prepares shop drawings and spool isometrics, agrees an inspection and test plan with your inspector and delivers each package with a complete manufacturing data record.
Scope
Each package has its own page with scope, standards and quality steps.

Pre-assembly
Pipe rack modules can be shipped with pipe supports, cable tray brackets and walkways already installed, and bins with their hopper, outlet flange and platforms trial-fitted. Pipe spools are sized to fit in containers or on flat racks and are marked to match the isometrics, so site teams install instead of fabricate.

流程
Drawings, specifications and codes are reviewed; queries are raised before material is ordered.
Tekla models for structures and bins; spool isometrics with weld numbers for piping.
Welding procedures and welder qualifications for the code, NDT and test procedures, ITP with hold points.
Cutting, rolling, bending, fit-up and welding with heat numbers traced to each piece and spool.
Visual, MT/PT, UT/RT to the specified extent; hydrostatic or pneumatic tests for piping; trial assembly.
Blasting and painting or galvanising, marking, packing, data book and shipping.
FAQ
Yes – structures, bins, chutes, pipe spools and pipe racks can be fabricated, coated and shipped together under one inspection and test plan.
To the code in your specification – typically ASME B31.3 or B31.1, EN 13480 or AS 4041 – with welding procedures and welders qualified for that code.
We fabricate to your design or prepare the detailed design with our engineering team when the flow properties of the bulk material and the loads are known.
Drawings, isometrics or a scope list – we quote fabrication, testing, coating and delivery.
