Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific – fabricated to AS/NZS 5131 CC3.
World Steel supplies fabricated structural steel and pre-engineered buildings to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, with a plant certified to AS/NZS 5131 Construction Category CC3.
Australia and New Zealand share a joint family of AS/NZS standards for loads, materials, welding, fabrication and corrosion protection, while each country keeps its own steel design code – AS 4100 in Australia and NZS 3404 in New Zealand. Pacific island nations commonly specify the same AS/NZS standards.
AS/NZS 5131 sets the fabrication and erection requirements for structural steelwork through Construction Categories CC1 to CC4. World Steel is certified to CC3, which covers the large majority of building, industrial and infrastructure structures specified in the region.
Vietnam's free trade agreements with Australia and New Zealand (AANZFTA, CPTPP and RCEP) support competitive supply, and our export team prepares the ITP, material traceability and quality dossier expected by Australasian engineers.
