One platform for every home
Every WS modular home is built from the same module: a galvanised Q355 steel frame 12.0 m long, 4.5 m wide and 3.1 m high, with its floor, walls, roof, bathroom pod, services and finishes installed in the factory. Modules are combined side by side, end to end and stacked two storeys to make studios, cabins, family homes and courtyard houses.

FRL ratings are achieved with tested or assessed systems and confirmed for each project by the building certifier; the variant names the design target.
Build-up
- Steel frame – galvanised Q355 frame engineered for strength, precision and durability, with corner posts for lifting and stacking.
- Wet core – factory-built bathroom pod for quality and consistency.
- MEP rough-in – services pre-installed for fast connection on site.
- External envelope – high-performance thermal and weather protection.
- Interior fit-out – finishes designed for comfort and function.
- Dispatch ready – inspected, wrapped and ready for safe transport.
Factory to site
Frames are welded on jigs in World Steel's certified structural steel plant – the same welding procedures and inspection as our structural work under ISO 3834-2 and AS/NZS 5131. Each module is tested, inspected, wrapped and dispatched; on site it is craned onto prepared footings and connected to services.
At 4.5 m wide a module is an over-width road load: transport permits, escorts and the route are planned with the logistics partner. Sea freight is on flat racks or break-bulk.

Câu hỏi thường gặp
What is the difference between Base and Fire-rated?
Base (WS-ML-01) is the standard non-fire-rated build-up for residential and accommodation use. Fire-rated (WS-ML-02) adds fire protection to the frame, fire-rated floor, wall and roof systems, fire-rated linings and doors and a pod with fire dampers, targeting FRL 60/60/60.
Can modules be stacked?
Yes – two-storey homes such as WS Family Living use stacked modules bolted at the corner posts.
How are modules transported?
Wrapped and lifted at the corner points onto low-loaders; 4.5 m width needs over-width permits. Export shipments go on flat racks or break-bulk.
