LGS floor joists & cassettes

What it is

Floor joists span between load-bearing walls or steel beams and carry the floor deck. Rim tracks close the ends, web stiffeners take concentrated loads at bearings, and bridging or strapping prevents the joists from rolling.

Spans depend on loads, deflection and vibration limits – every floor is designed for the project.

Cassettes

Prefabricated floor cassettes – joists, rim tracks and deck assembled in the factory – are lifted into place in minutes and give a working platform immediately.
