World Steel in Asia
World Steel is based in Ho Chi Minh City with its fabrication plant in Tay Ninh, Vietnam. Asia is our home market and the region where most of our references are built – industrial plants, warehouses, commercial buildings and bridges across Southeast Asia and beyond.
Asia combines the world's fastest-growing construction markets with a wide mix of design traditions. Singapore and Malaysia design to Eurocodes; Indonesia and the Philippines use national codes derived from AISC; Japan has its own Building Standard Law and JIS materials; Vietnam designs to TCVN. JIS and ASTM steel grades are widely used across the region.
Short sea routes from Vietnam, the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA) and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) make World Steel a natural supply partner for projects in the region. Our engineers work daily with Eurocode, AISC, JIS and TCVN design bases, and our plant is certified to ISO 3834-2 for welding quality and holds BC1 certification for Singapore.
Typical scopes range from design-and-supply of pre-engineered factories and warehouses to heavy structural steel for multi-storey buildings, hangars and bridges.
