What to check when importing fabricated structural steel (HS 7308) or prefabricated buildings (HS 9406) into the United Arab Emirates.

Conformity assessment under GCC / national standards bodies is required for regulated construction products.
Projects are typically specified to BS EN / Eurocode or ASTM / AISC – fabrication to EN 1090 or AWS D1.1.
Corrosion protection for hot, saline environments (ISO 12944 C4–C5 or hot-dip galvanizing).
