About Curtainrock®

Curtainrock is a lightweight, semirigid stone wool insulation board designed to provide enhanced fire protection in curtain wall and perimeter fire cotnainment systems. These products are non combustible and fire resistand and will not develop smoke or promote flame spread when exposed to fire.

Application: Mainly applied on Curtain wall insulations , external walls on commercial buildings and high rise and multiple storey buildings. It is the ideal material of choice for curtain wall system applications, either as the backpan of curtain wall or as a fire safing and smoke seal at gaps.

How we use Curtainrock® in steel buildings

In World Steel buildings ROCKWOOL Curtainrock® insulates façades, curtain walls, partitions and party walls – adding fire safety and acoustic comfort to offices, hotels, schools and mixed-use steel frames. We coordinate thickness and fixings with the cladding and wall framing and deliver it with the steel package.

02Quantities taken from the same 3D model as the steel, purlins and cladding.
03Packed and shipped with the steel package – one delivery schedule to site.
