How we use Thermalrock® B Blanket in steel buildings
On World Steel pre-engineered and structural steel buildings, ROCKWOOL Thermalrock® B Blanket is laid under the metal roof sheeting on the purlins, held by wire mesh and foil where specified – cutting solar heat gain and rain noise while keeping the roof non-combustible. We size the thickness with the roof design, take quantities from the same 3D model as the purlins and sheeting, and ship the insulation with the steel package.
- 01Specified with the structure – thickness, density and facing matched to the roof, wall and fire design.
- 02Quantities taken from the same 3D model as the steel, purlins and cladding.
- 03Packed and shipped with the steel package – one delivery schedule to site.
