Nam Kim Steel

Nam Kim Steel Joint Stock Company was incorporated in 2002 and operates pickling, metallic coating and colour coating lines and steel pipe plants in southern and central Vietnam. Its coated products are sold under the Naki brand family – Naki Zinc (hot-dip galvanized), Naki Zincalum (zinc-aluminium alloy coated) and Naki Color (pre-painted) – together with Naki Pipe galvanized and black steel pipe and galvanized C-purlins. A large share of production is exported, with Europe, the United States and ASEAN countries among its main export markets.

For pre-engineered buildings, these product types cover the cladding and part of the secondary structure. Zinc-aluminium coated and pre-painted sheet is roll formed into roof and wall sheeting, standing seam panels, flashings and trims. Galvanized strip and C-purlins are used as roof purlins, wall girts and framing for doors and openings, provided the grade, thickness and coating mass meet the design. Steel pipe is used for handrails, light struts and accessories. Specifiers should state the applicable product standard, minimum yield strength, base metal thickness, coating mass and paint system, and check them against mill certificates and coating test reports on delivery.

In Vietnam

Incorporated in 2002 and headquartered in Dong An 2 Industrial Park, Binh Duong (now Ho Chi Minh City). Coated sheet plants in Dong An 2 and Dong Nai 2 industrial parks; pipe plants in Long An and Chu Lai. Products are sold nationwide and exported to more than 50 markets.
