DDP
Delivered Duty Paid
The seller delivers to the named place, cleared for import with duties and taxes paid.
How World Steel delivers DDP
On request in selected markets where an importer-of-record arrangement is possible. For most export projects we recommend DAP, with the buyer clearing import. Projects in Vietnam are delivered to site as standard.
- Delivery
- On the arriving vehicle at the named place, cleared for import, ready for unloading.
- Risk passes
- At the named place of destination.
- Costs
- The seller pays everything to the named place, including import duties and taxes.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a fully landed, duty-paid price.
- Watch out
- The seller must act as or appoint the importer of record and pay import VAT – not possible in every country.
Always state the rule, a precise named place and the version, e.g. “DDP your port / site, Incoterms® 2020”.
Incoterms® is a registered trademark of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). This page summarises the Incoterms® 2020 rules for orientation only – the ICC text and the sales contract govern. Always state the rule, the named place and “Incoterms® 2020”.
