How World Steel delivers EXW

Available at the World Steel factory, Hai Son Industrial Park, on request. Because EXW leaves loading and Vietnamese export clearance to the buyer, we normally recommend FCA World Steel factory instead – export cleared and loaded by us.

Delivery: Goods placed at the buyer's disposal at the named place – the WS factory – not loaded.
Risk passes: When the goods are placed at the buyer's disposal at the factory.
Costs: The buyer pays from the factory gate, including loading and Vietnamese export clearance.
Best for: Domestic collection, or buyers with their own export agent in Vietnam.
Watch out: The buyer must be able to clear exports in Vietnam; the seller has no duty to load. ICC recommends FCA for international sales.

Always state the rule, a precise named place and the version, e.g. “EXW Ho Chi Minh City, Incoterms® 2020”.
