  • PU foam 16–22 mm or PE/OPP 3–4 mm bonded underneath
  • Reduces heat gain and rain noise
  • Limits condensation dripping inside
  • Installed like a standard trapezoidal sheet

A cooler, quieter roof in one sheet

An insulating layer bonded to the underside of the sheet cuts radiant heat, softens rain noise and keeps condensation off the stored goods – without a separate insulation blanket. Polyurethane (PU) foam of 16–22 mm gives the best thermal performance; PE or OPP foil-faced foam of 3–4 mm is a lighter, economical option.

For higher thermal requirements, combine the roof with glass-wool insulation or use sandwich panels.

Frequently asked questions

How much cooler is an insulated sheet?

It depends on climate, colour and ventilation; PU-backed sheets reduce heat gain far more than PE/OPP. For energy-code compliance we calculate the roof build-up per project.
