Curtain and finish

Curtains are roll-formed, factory-seamed sections of 26 gauge Grade 80 galvanised steel with a siliconized polyester finish, full-length felt strips at each drum for quiet operation, and a bottom bar with a pliable bulb seal and integrated blade astragal.

How to order

Measure the framed opening – width first, height second – and the headroom and side room available. For example a framed opening of 14'6" × 16'0" takes a 14'6" × 16'0" door. Send us the building drawings and we size the doors with the framed openings of the steel building.

Frequently asked questions

Do the springs need maintenance?

Storage-grade doors use coated, oil-tempered torsion springs that need no lubrication; tension is adjusted with a ratcheting wheel.

Which grade for a warehouse?

Commercial (RU-C) for typical loading bays and workshops; large commercial (RU-L) with chain hoist for wide, tall or high-wind openings.
